WHERE CAN I BUY KARWENDEL-WERKE PRODUCTS?

We have no influence over the product ranges offered by our various retail partners. That means that not every variety of our cream cheese and fromage frais specialities may be on offer in every retail outlet. Retailers may also change their product offerings without notice. We will, however, be happy to locate a retailer near you that offers the product you are looking for. Simply write a message stating your post code and the product you are looking for – we will get back to you as quickly as possible.

WHERE ARE THE PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED?

Our cream cheese and fromage frais specialities are made exclusively in Germany at our company headquarters in Buchloe in the East Allgäu region. That way we can guarantee optimised freshness and superior quality and taste.

WHERE DOES KARWENDEL-WERKE SOURCE ITS PROCESSED MILK?

As a family-run business with a long tradition, we are very proud of the fact that many of our partners have been delivering their milk to us for two and even three generations. As a company with strong regional roots, we ensure that our dairy farm partners are located in the Alpine Uplands, i.e. in the region between Munich and Lake Constance. ARE THE PRODUCTS MADE WITH CURD? DO YOU USE GENETICALLY ENGINEERED CURD?

Our dairy products are made exclusively with microbial curd. None of our products come into contact with animal rennet or genetically engineered curd.

ARE THERE ANY FACILITY TOURS ON OFFER?

Maximised food safety is our top priority, which means we are unable to offer facility tours for visitors. As a food manufacturer, we are subject to strict hygiene regulations to guarantee the high quality and safety standards of our products. Allowing visitor tours at our facility would make full compliance with these standards impossible.

DO YOU HAVE A FACTORY OUTLET SHOP?

No. Unfortunately we are currently unable to offer cream cheese and fromage frais specialities directly ex works in Buchloe.
